FMP Finalized Film Story

Imperium are a group that was formed to create peace in the world, the group is made up of five people, each of these people has some sort of influence in the countries from which they hail; the Five main countries are: UK, USA, China, Japan and Russia. They aim to bring world peace through an artificial virus named pinnacle, two small patches are placed on the tip of your index and middle fingers, once applied Nano needles inject the virus without alerting the user, it then dumbs down the brains ability to make decisions for itself and makes the new host easy to manipulate, the device also allows interactivity with all new hardware that is released after it (think of it like an IPhone that is also your car keys, credit card etc.) without pinnacle you will not be able to interact with most new hardware/software. To get this all through they use the connections that they have in their homelands to borrow money and assets to kick start the product.

Imperium now have to make a profit from pinnacle to pay back the money and assets they had previously borrowed, this means that they now have control over all of those who could afford pinnacle i.e. people with power and/or wealth, anyone who could not afford it has been left behind and have realised what pinnacles true intent was, this causes them to form a rebellion, code named “Purge”.

Tracking back to the creation of pinnacle, the then little know Imperium contacted a neuro-scientist to create the virus, this neuroscientist quickly realised what the virus could do and decides to alter it slightly to still allow for the interaction with new systems whilst maintaining normal brain function.
Lacking a human test subject and not knowing whether or not the virus could be lethal, he decides to test it on himself, animal trials had been fairly successful up to this point but there is only one way to know how compatible it is with a human immune system, just in case the worst should happen he contacts his son who immediately panics and catches a ride with his roommate (Jake's character) they arrive at the public area of the labs to try to talk him out of it. After a fair few minutes of arguing Jake’s character offers himself as the test subject as he has the least to lose, the scientist reluctantly aggress. The scientist administers the injection and Jake’s character passes out, the scientist takes him to his lab to recover. When Jake wakes up he finds the lab deserted except for the scientists son who stayed with him to recover, he explains that his father had to leave in a hurry as a private military lead by imperium were trying to capture him and didn’t want to endanger his son and work, his father had also explained that the room is being monitored and gives him a riddle that only his son could solve that would lead them to find his final video diary, imperium have recovered what they can from the original virus design and has started implanting them into military units along with a host of drugs that boost the soldiers physical abilities. Jake is confused by all of this and it seems the virus may have had an adverse effect on his mind.

Some time passes and Jake has managed to become a member of the now imperium controlled military; he has no memory of the day he was injected and therefor saw no problem with joining.
At around the same time the scientist’s sons has solved the riddle and are about to go and retrieve the diary, he himself has had no combat experience and decides he should seek out one of the leaders of Purge to help. Purge send a scout name Alex Bran (Ryan’s Character)to retrieve it, Ryan is briefed on what needs to be done and gives him a brief back story as to how the virus came to be this includes information on Jake's character, he is told that once he has obtained the tape he should use a secure line to contact the son and find out where to take it there he will be met with an assistant (Richard) who worked with rob’s father.
There is a scene where everyone is getting ready to rest in which Ryan is looking at a picture of a woman and looking into a mirror, this creates a flashback that details some of Ryan’s back story including his now deceased fiance.

When he gets to the old apartment complex (where the tape is hidden) he finds that imperium have already arrived having also solved the riddle, Ryan quietly infiltrates the complex whilst trying to avoid combat wherever possible. Eventually Ryan comes across Jake routing through a file, seeing an easy take down Ryan tries to put Jake down realising all too late that he is too strong for that. A fight ensues that ends up revealing the tape.
Eventually Ryan realises who he is dealing with and calls a truce, he then refreshes Jake's memory on everything that has happened and how his own military is working against him. Ryan is cut short as re-enforcement arrive, Jake tells Ryan that he will try to buy him some time and points to a way out and hands him the tape, Jake tries to talk his way out of the situation with the re-enforcements but ultimately fails and ends up being arrested.

Jake is court marshaled.

As Ryan is escaping a soldier manages to get an eye on him and sends out a description to the troops, Ryan is now truly on the run. Ryan (after a long escape) catches his breath and pulls out his phone, dialling the secure line he contacts Rob and Richard to find out where to go. The assistant gives him the location of a building in the next village and tells him to wait there until they can get there securely.
At the village he quickly notices two armed men checking houses, knowing that they must be working for imperium he decides it would be best to enter quietly and stay out of their way. He darts around the street and into one of the previously checked homes; no one is home so he rests there a while. As he sits down he realises he isn’t alone in the house and is greeted by Robs character who had also hidden in there when the soldiers had arrived.
They try to leave but are noticed half way out of the village and are forces to flee, Ryan pulls Rob behind a corner and in one fluid motion pulls out his pistol and puts one bullet each into the perusing soldiers. They hide the bodies and escape.
Rob leads Ryan to a smaller village further down river where the assistant was staying luckily the soldiers had already been past this area and hopefully would not check it again anytime soon, they are let into the house immediately as it wouldn’t be long before the bodies would be found. Ryan delves into his bag and pulls out the video and gives it to the assistant who then rushes off to watch it with an old VCR, at first there didn’t seem to be anything special about the tape until Richard pointed out the annoying background noise that turns out to be Morse code detailing a theory of a computer virus that could completely shut down imperium and bankrupt them. Purge calls the assistant and tells them that Jake is heading to their location to lend a hand.
They need to acquire some weaponry and points out a room for Ryan to go and equip himself. Ryan picks up a bare minimum of weaponry then subtly pulls a picture out from his bag and stares at it for a while; he returns it and leaves the room.
The assistant then rushes over to a table and grabs a large sheet which has a large Blue print of the building that imperium are using. He points out the location of the imperium servers and says this is where we need to get to in order to install the virus. We will need to get in undetected.
Ryan and Jake take the lead and eventually make it to the mainframe; here four members of imperium (now mad with power) have injected themselves with a concentrated solution of the soldiers enhancement drugs. Jake ends up getting mortally wounded saving Ryan and has to be left to die.
In the meantime rob and rich are uploading the virus to the mainframe when the fifth imperium member attacks them, rob kills him for his father. The virus is now uploaded. The soldiers stand down after recovering from the virus we walk out and bury our dead. This is a large scene in which we have a memorial for Jake. It ends with multiple scenes where the cast go about their normal days but with mementos of the battle (dog tags, pictures etc.)
